About Jo Haller
Jo is a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist and physical therapist dedicated to helping athletes return stronger, healthier, and more confident to their sport. A former collegiate soccer captain, she understands the demands athletes face both physically and mentally, and brings that perspective into every treatment plan.
She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University and completed MTI Physical Therapy’s Sports Residency, specializing in taking athletes through the full progression from injury to return to play and performance. In addition to her clinical work, Jo now combines her rehabilitation expertise with on-field experience as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Seattle University’s swimming programs.
Jo has a particular interest in working with female athletes and addressing the unique challenges they face in training, injury recovery, and performance. This passion also extends to her research, where she has examined the under-representation of women in sports physical therapy—a project she presented nationally at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting (CSM).
Outside the clinic, Jo enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and soccer, as well as cooking and exploring the outdoors with her dog, Odin. Having gone through her own ACL rehabilitation in 2023, she brings a personal perspective and deep empathy to the athletes she treats.
