Would you like to hit the ball farther? Would you like to play with less pain? Do you look forward to playing golf the rest of your life?
If you answered “YES!” to any of those questions then the PTMotionLab Golf Performance Evaluation is just what you need to get you started!
The golf swing is unique to each individual and is a complex movement requiring mobility, stability, and power. If performed inefficiently, you could be depriving yourself of longevity, distance, and enjoyment of the game. Whatever your age or skill level, we are here to help!
The following are included in this comprehensive assessment of your golf fitness:
- K-VEST Evaluation: 3-D analysis of your body mechanics during the golf swing. This provides important information and insight regarding your body’s movement patterns and efficiency during the golf swing.
- TPI Physical Screen: A golf-specific physical screen performed by a TPI Certified Physical Therapist. This screen will identify potential stability patterns and mobility deficits that are limiting your efficiency or even increasing your chance of injury during the golf swing.
- TPI Power and Strength Screen: This screen will identify if strength or speed is limiting the power in your golf swing.
- Exercise Prescription: Initial recommendations for exercises addressing any problem areas identified during the assessment, prescribed by the TPI Certified Physical Therapist.
If you are currently working with a coach, or are considering working with one, we are happy to collaborate and communicate these findings to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of your lessons.

frequently asked questions
What is a TPI (Titleist Performance Institute)-certified golf analysis, and how does computerized testing improve it?
A TPI-certified golf analysis evaluates swing biomechanics, mobility, and stability using standardized screening and advanced computerized motion analysis. This approach identifies movement limitations and asymmetries that impact performance or contribute to injury, allowing for precise, data-driven physical therapy recommendations.
How does physical therapy with TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) assessment improve golf performance and reduce injury risk?
TPI-based physical therapy integrates movement screening with therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and neuromuscular re-education. Computerized data enhances accuracy in identifying deficits in hip rotation, thoracic mobility, and core stability. This targeted approach improves swing efficiency, increases power, and reduces risk of injuries such as low back pain or elbow tendinopathy.
Who should consider a computerized TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) golf assessment?
A computerized TPI assessment is ideal for golfers of all skill levels, particularly those with pain, mobility restrictions, or performance limitations. It is also valuable for injury prevention and return-to-play planning. Objective data and expert analysis help optimize movement patterns and support long-term performance gains.
