ABOUT RAHUL BALLARIN

Rahul Ballarin received his Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Padua in 2009. After graduation, he began practicing in an orthopedic clinic specialized in sport physical therapy and movement analysis near Venice, Italy. At the same time, he started a Master in Sports Physical Therapy program from the University of Siena, which he completed in 2011. That same year, he met Jim Rivard and Brian Power for the first time, during a certification in STEP with the Ola Grimsby Institute (OGI) in Italy and they became his mentors.

He subsequently completed the OGI Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy training (Parma, 2013), the OGI Doctorate in Manual Physical Therapy Residency Program (Varese, 2016) and the OGI Manual Therapy Fellowship Program (Milan and Venice, 2019.) After the completion of the latter, Rahul Ballarin became the first Italian physical therapist in training to become a certified OGI Instructor.

Rahul founded his first physical therapy clinic in Venice in 2013. In 2018, he completed his internship as part of his OGI Fellowship Program at MTI Physical Therapy in Seattle,WA. While there, as signs of deep gratitude and friendship, he asked his mentors, Jim Rivard and Brian Power, for permission to start an MTI Physical Therapy sister clinic in Venice. With their permission, he opened MTI Fisioterapia in Venice, Italy in 2019 with the goal of providing the same one-to-one approach to Italian patients. He is excited to bring this high level of quality care and advanced training in physiotherapy to his patients every day.
