The Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT) Annual Checkup is the most extensive assessment of joint mobility, range of motion and muscle performance available. This groundbreaking preventative approach identifies small joint mobility and range of motion deficits that contribute to reduced muscle performance and function.

Your Annual Checkup includes:
- Joint mobility assessment of almost every joint in the body. Every joint has small, 3-dimensional motions that are necessary for full pain-free movement. Small restrictions cause abnormal joint forces leading to tissue breakdown over time. Normalizing these motions will increase your strength and performance.
- Range of motion assessment will identify flexibility limitations from muscles, tendons, connective tissue and even nerves. Asymmetries, limited motion and adverse neural tension contribute to loss of mobility that reduces normal performance.
- Muscle strength and performance measures not only the symmetry of strength, but timing of muscle activation, coordination and balance.
The Annual Checkup is done with our prevention and performance partnership with PTMotionLab. It is a self-pay service and is not covered by insurance. The cost is 45 minutes / $200.
The time and cost of the Annual Check Up covers the evaluation service only. If additional coaching, training, or physical therapy services are needed, additional scheduled visits will be required. These additional visits may be covered by insurance under MTI Physical Therapy if they are for rehabilitation services. Additional services related to movement, training or performance are cash-pay services billed under PTMotionLab.
