Ari Grunert

Originally from California, Ari grew up playing soccer and developed a passion for movement and sport. She gained an interest in injury prevention and management during an athletic training internship while completing a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of California at Santa Cruz. After living in the mountains in Crested Butte Colorado, she returned to the west coast to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree at the University of Washington in 2023.

Ari is excited to help clients of all ages pursue their movement goals, as well as address all lifestyle factors that may contribute to their conditions. She has special interests in injury prevention and treating mountain sport athletes of all abilities, whether you are just learning to ski or running your first trail marathon. Ari believes in the importance of outdoor participation and recreation to promote long term health and wellness.

Along with her experience in manual therapy and exercise treatment of orthopedic conditions, Ari is an endorsed Intramuscular Dry Needling practitioner. With this skill, she has had success in treating many conditions such as chronic headaches, TMD and tendinopathy.

Outside of the clinic, Ari can be found trail running, mountain biking, snowboarding or gardening. And quite often napping on the couch with her husky Tuck or cat Luna.
