About Roshan Devarakonda
Roshan first became involved with physical therapy when experiencing an ankle injury from running. He was blown away by his PT’s attention to detail and was inspired to pursue the profession himself. In 2015, Roshan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Bradley University. After graduation, Roshan began his career in Houston, TX and completed his orthopedic residency in 2021. He then became a clinical instructor of physical therapy students and one of the instructors for the residency program he participated in.
Roshan enjoys treating all patients with orthopedic conditions, but he especially likes to work with patients who have had orthopedic surgery or overuse injuries. He has a strong passion for working with individuals who want guidance on beginning or resuming an active lifestyle. Roshan grew up playing soccer and running, and he developed a strong background with these activities.
Outside of the clinic, Roshan enjoys playing with his cat “Tiger”, watching Premier League soccer, exercising in the gym, running, and hiking. He has a goal of visiting every national park in the United States and has currently checked off 28 of the 63 national parks.
