Lindsey Jouett

Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science in Dance and Arts Management from Oklahoma City University in 2008 and went on to enjoy a career as a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer, primarily in the realm of musical theatre, across the country and world. With her dance students, she emphasized injury prevention and establishing sound movement patterns to promote longevity. When she or her students inevitably did encounter injuries, Lindsey yearned to know more about the body and the best ways to heal, regain strength, and help them return to performing. As a result, she developed a passion for physical therapy and went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Washington in June 2024. Lindsey joined MTI Physical Therapy soon after and is looking forward to participating in the Ola Grimsby Institute’s Orthopedic Residency program in 2025.

Lindsey remains committed to helping her patients return to the highest possible level of function in order to improve their overall health and well-being and return to participating in their preferred sport, craft or recreational activities. She has a special interest in working with performing artists (dancers, actors, singers, musicians, etc,) as well as hypermobile (flexible) patients, helping them remain strong and active for the long haul.

When she’s not in the clinic, Lindsey enjoys social dancing, kayaking, hiking, biking, and generally being outdoors, unless there’s a good book that requires devouring next to a warm cup of coffee.
