Clare O’Carroll

Originally from the Chicago area, Clare developed an interest in physical therapy after sustaining multiple sports-related injuries in high school and becoming a patient herself. She wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and experienced first hand, how rewarding and beneficial physical therapy could be. After completing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Saint Louis University, Clare was inspired to further improve her clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills and pursued an Orthopedic Residency through the Virginia Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Institute.

Clare enjoys helping patients achieve their specific goals and return to the activities they love. She favors a patient-centered approach focused on treating the whole individual through a variety of treatment techniques specific to each person. Clare strongly believes in empowering patients to take control of their health by providing ample education throughout their recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Clare enjoys spending time with and training her dog, Fleur, as well as running, hiking, camping and traveling whenever she’s able.
