About Tom Daybert
Tom has always had an interest in both medicine and sports and decided to pursue physical therapy as a profession while rehabilitating from a soccer injury in high school. His passion for the profession grew as he worked for a local physical therapy clinic in the Mukilteo area, while completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Washington. Subsequently, Tom worked as a licensed physical therapist assistant at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lake Stevens, before returning and graduating from the University of Washington with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Utilizing a team mindset, Tom partners with his patients and encourages them to be equally involved in their care. He believes in empowering patients with the knowledge, skills, and resources to optimize their function and to facilitate a successful return to the activities that they enjoy. Tom takes pride in being a member of a profession that promotes continuing education and plans to become a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist upon meeting the eligibility requirements.
When not in the clinic, Tom loves spending time with his wife, family, and cat, Pepper. On the weekends, you may find him cheering on the Huskies at a football game or giving his full 90 at a Sounder’s match. Tom also enjoys spending time outdoors and riding his motorcycle with his dad and brother-in-law.
