Sarah is a Chicago native who graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana, Champaign in 2016. After graduation, she relocated to Mesa, Arizona to attend A.T. Still University, where she completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Growing up as a competitive soccer athlete then transitioning to an avid runner, hiker, and student, she understands the importance of being able to train optimally and work pain-free. This knowledge stimulated her desire to become a physical therapist early on, but it was during her clinical experiences that she developed a passion for orthopedic manual therapy and post-concussion rehabilitation. She fell in love with the Pacific Northwest while doing an internship in Seattle and is excited to now call this area her home. She currently treats patients at MTI Physical Therapy’s Kirkland Clinic and just completed her Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Residency through the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2020.
Outside of the clinic, Sarah enjoys hiking and backpacking, running and volunteering at races, participating in intramural soccer, and attending all kinds of sporting events. It is her dream to work with local sporting teams to streamline post-concussion care in order to minimize long-term effects, and be a source of education on returning to school and sports.
