Becca works full-time as a physical therapist for MTI Physical Therapy at our First Hill clinic in Seattle. She also holds leadership roles as a member of the Steering and Hiring Committees, as well as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Team at MTI.
She has an extensive background in orthopedic manual physical therapy including three years of post-doctoral level education and credentialing. Becca also teaches post-doctoral Fellowship programs and exercise rehabilitating courses nationally and internationally. This experience has made her an expert with a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses including: injury prevention, temporomadibular disorders, headaches, post motor vehicle injury rehab, spine, shoulder and upper extremity diagnoses.
Becca also has a keen interest working with challenging cases where the patient has “tried everything” and is still seeking help. These patients are often the most rewarding to work with — they are often exhausted from their efforts to pursue answers, so it is gratifying to watch them find a glimmer of hope through our unique style of manual therapy and exercise training.
Becca also enjoys treating her fellow climbers from the local climbing gyms and local alpine climbing clubs. She has been climbing for over 15 years and is a member of the Seattle Mountaineers and Seattle Bouldering Project. She is also a volunteer instructor for the Mountaineers in both their basic and intermediate climbing courses.
Becca enjoys multi-pitch rock, glacier, ice, and the plentiful mixed alpine climbing of the local Cascade Mountain Range. She has also climbed and trekked internationally — her next objective is to climb Ama Dablam, a 22,349 foot peak in the Khumbu Region of Nepal.
