Matt Hatscher

Matt Hatscher , PT, MPT, MOMT

Physical Therapist Masters of Physical Therapy Masters of Orthopedic Manual Therapy

Matt has always been fascinated by the design, performance, and resiliency of the human body. This fascination, combined with his experience as a physical therapy patient in high school, led Matt to pursue a career in physical therapy. As a Washington native, he attended the University of Washington for both his Bachelor’s degree in Zoology (1999) and his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (2001). Upon graduating from physical therapy school, Matt recognized a need to improve his evaluation and treatment skills, which led him to pursue an orthopedic manual therapy residency program through the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2003. He began his career with MTI that same year.

Matt is a strong believer in the healing ability of the human body and believes it is the role of the physical therapist to assist this process and provide the patient with the necessary tools and education to prevent future injuries.

While not in the clinic, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, participating in youth sports, golfing, reading, enjoying his wife’s incredible cooking, and playing guitar (more learning than playing!).
