Justin Sweeney , PT, DPT

Physical Therapist
Doctor of Physical Therapy

Justin received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2019. After moving to Seattle from his hometown of the Big Island of Hawaii, Justin split his time between pursuing his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology while working part-time as a personal trainer and parkour/acrobatics coach. Justin’s personal interest in movement and performance as a parkour athlete has allotted him opportunities to be in various TV commercials as a stunt actor, reach the finals in the TV show American Ninja Warrior, and is currently a leading contender in various national parkour competitions. Justin joined MTI Physical Therapy in 2020 and is in the process of pursuing further training through the Ola Grimsby Institute’s (OGI) manual therapy residency program.

Justin sees patients in Magnolia where he utilizes his background in psychology and coaching to find the right approach with his patients. His treatment approach aims to put the patient’s individualized goals and optimal therapeutic experience front and center. Whether treating individuals with general or post-operative injuries, weekend warriors, or a seasoned athlete, he aims to help his patients get back to their capable selves and achieve their personalized movement goals.
