Josh Setterbo , PT, DPT

Physical Therapist
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Josh was first introduced to physical therapy following a knee injury that he incurred while playing football in high school in Texas. After working with his physical therapist and seeing his passion for helping people return to their prior function, he decided to pursue a career in physical therapy. Josh attended graduate school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy 2013.

After graduation he began working as a traveling physical therapist while living in a 5th wheel RV with his wife, Sydney. They settled in the Pacific Northwest as they loved the weather, hiking, and the year-round outdoor activities. Josh joined MTI Physical Therapy in 2017 and he completed a year-long, post-doctoral Manual Therapy Residency Training program through the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2019. He has also completed coursework for the Ola Grimsby Fellowship for Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in January of 2020.

He enjoys exercising in different forms whether it is playing sports, weight lifting, Crossfit, yoga, hiking, and being outdoors. As a former oft-injured athlete, he is passionate about helping others returning to their lives without pain or limitations. In addition to being a physical therapist, he is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Other hobbies include making Texas-style BBQ, spending quality time with family and friends, and remodeling homes while living in them.
