Jenna Bauman

Jenna Bauman , PT, DPT

[Physical Therapist]
[Doctor of Physical Therapy]

Jenna’s love of human movement and anatomy, which she developed after many years as a performing arts athlete, led her into the physical therapy profession. She was born and raised in Lake Tapps, Washington and went on to pursue a Bachelor of the Arts degree at the University of Washington in Seattle. Wanting to explore a new city, Jenna moved to Portland, Oregon where she earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy with honors at Pacific University. Pacific’s strong orthopedic program inspired her to join MTI Physical Therapy and is looking forward to pursuing further training in orthopedic manual therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute’s manual therapy residency program.

Jenna has experience working as a student in a variety of settings with several different patient populations, including acute care hospitals, a rehabilitation center for neurological injuries, a certified comprehensive stroke center, health and wellness clubs, and specialized outpatient orthopedic clinics. It was her student internship at MTI’s  clinic at the Washington Athletic Club (WAC) that led Jenna back to Seattle and start her career in outpatient orthopedics.

When you meet Jenna, you will discover she is first and foremost an advocate for her patients. She provides each of her patients with the time and resources necessary to improve their condition and prevent future injuries, and always encourages them to take an active role in their healthcare. These values align perfectly with MTI’s patient care model, allowing Jenna to give each patient one hour of undivided attention to help further their progress and get them back to the activities they love.

While not in the clinic, Jenna enjoys jogging around Greenlake, challenging hikes, trivia nights at a local pub, just about any exercise class, reading a great novel with a fresh cup of coffee, catching up on her latest Netflix show and is always up for anything that involves laughter.
