Valerie Levesque, PT, DPT
Valerie discovered her love for human movement at a young age as a competitive figure skater. She ended up in a Physical Therapy office as an eleven year-old and found herself mesmerized by the depth of her therapist’s skill and knowledge. She knew right away that she wanted to be a Physical Therapist (PT) when she grew up so that she could help others reach their goals too.
In 2007, she left her home state of Alaska to attend Oregon State University, where she studied Exercise Science. After graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy, Valerie and her future husband took a leap of faith and moved to New York City where she was accepted to the New York Medical College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
After graduating from PT school in 2015, Valerie and her husband moved to Seattle to be closer to family and friends. In pursuit of cultivating an expert set of skills, she applied and was accepted into the Ola Grimsby Institute (OGI) Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Residency program and launched her career with MTI in 2015. She believes that the human body is capable of incredible things with careful preparation and training and loves that she gets to be a part of her patient’s journey towards reaching their goals.
When Valerie is not in the clinic, she is in the Pilates studio or rink side, training skaters. On the weekends she enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with her husband, her sister, and their dogs.
