David Benoff, LMP, SEP, CCST

Prior to his career as a healthcare provider, David enjoyed a successful 20+ year career in software engineering. While working in this field at a local software company, he observed a great deal of unnecessary stress and anxiety. Motivated by the belief that there had to be a healthier approach, David left the company in 2004 to attend and graduate from the Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle. Striving to more fully embrace the remarkable potential of the body’s innate wisdom, he also completed a 250 hour biodynamic Craniosacral certificate program, as well as the three-year Somatic Experiencing certification program. Soonafter, he furthered his education by attending Western Washington University where he earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in philosophy and psychology.

Yearning for additional opportunities to better understand why we cause ourselves so much unnecessary suffering, David participated in an extended residence at a remote Buddhist monastery, where he immersed himself in the study of how we can transform this unnecessary suffering to a deep and satisfying sense of happiness, contentment, and gratitude.

By meeting his clients with gentleness, compassion, and respect, David works with clients on a wide variety of challenges, including:
